Launch F18 is delighted to present "Mushrooms Demystified," an exhibition of new work by Brooklyn based artist Nathan Dilworth. The exhibition will open Saturday, October 12th and continue through Saturday, November 30, 2013. This is the second exhibition of Nathan's work with the gallery.
In "Mushrooms Demystified," Dilworth continues to pursue his multi-medium focus through the lens of a continuously refined and progressive process. From a distance, these works reference the many facets of the contemporary artists and the on-going spirit of a multi-talented navigator. Honing in on the participation of their execution, which includes form, color, design and painterly skill, then narrowing down his exceptional pallet and attention to graphic detail, he condenses to alchemies the narrowest of margins.
Dilworth, who has previously produced extraordinary varieties of two and three-dimensional works' plunges further into this process, which allows for an interesting sense of traveling persistence. These new works, a catalyst of conceptual provocation and process allow Dilworth to navigate methodically throughout each piece gently or even aggressively enough to not lead to what could be a more obvious route; the narrative.
