CHIAOZZA

LAUNCH F18 is honored to present a new installation of six sculptural works by the Brooklyn based duo, CHIAOZZA. This public art installation will open to the general public on Saturday, September 25 and will remain on view through October 23, 2021. This presentation will take place at Putnam Park in Peterborough, NH, located on Grove Street in downtown Peteroborough. The works exhibited will be accessible and open to the public free of charge.

Chiaozza (rhymes with “wowza”) is the collaborative multidisciplinary studio of Adam Frezza & Terri Chiao. Frezza & Chiao have had solo shows at Wave Hill in The Bronx, NY; Vox Populi in Philadelphia, PA; Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY; Owen James Gallery in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NY; and Cooler Gallery in Brooklyn, NY. The studio has installed public artworks in New York City and Gainesville, FL. Together, they have been artists-in-residence at Villa Lena (Tuscany, Italy), Kökarkultur (Kökar, Finland), Starry Night (Truth or Consequences, NM), The School of Making Thinking (Delancey, NY), The Lloyd Library (Cincinnati, OH), and BRIC Media Arts (Brooklyn, NY). In 2017, they installed an acre-spanning sculpture garden with 32 large-scale works for the Coachella Arts & Music Festival in Indio, CA. The artists live and work in Brooklyn, NY.
